Project Background

This cargo lift project was designed for a customer in the United States who required a 2-ton capacity lift with 4.5m travel height. The shaft dimensions were limited, so the platform size had to be carefully matched to the site layout.

2 Ton 4.5m Height Cargo Lift for American Customer

Site Constraints

The customer left a shaft measuring 1780 × 2250 mm, which constrained the platform size. By adding guide rails on the sides, the maximum workable platform size was reduced to 1600 × 1300 mm. This solution maintained structural stability while fitting the available opening.

Design Implementation

For shipping convenience, the guide rails were split into two pieces with a plug-socket design for quick assembly. This simplified installation and saved time on site. The customer was able to install the lift within one day.

Power Support

The local power source was 220V single-phase, which is lower than the standard requirements for a 4.0 kW hydraulic power unit. A variable-frequency drive (VFD) was added as an optional component to ensure the equipment could receive enough power and operate properly.

Result

The solution balanced compact dimensions, practical installation efficiency, and power compatibility. It is a strong example of how GP LIFT customizes a standard cargo lift to fit a project-specific environment.
